About the Event

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED.

Unfortunately due to current events, we have had major organizations that were suppose to participate in our upcoming Transit & Utilities event, place gathering bans on their employees for non-client essential project meetings.

With this being the case, many of the participants and speakers at this time cannot be in attendance. We will need to reschedule the seminar from March 12 to early June. Hopefully by then the Corona Virus COVID-19 is controlled and travel/attendance embargos are lifted from the various organizations.

Please stay tuned as we will be announcing a revised date soon. If any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at info@uesicanada.org.

Regards and Stay Healthy,

Executive Committee Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute Ontario Chapter

Utility Engineering is a branch of Civil Engineering that focuses on the planning, position, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and asset management of any and all utility systems, as well as the interaction between utility infrastructure and other civil infrastructure and its applications in modern transit settings.

The Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute (UESI) allows opportunities for all those interested to collaborate in advancing the technical and professional practices of utility engineering and surveying.

This seminar will provide an overview of the goals of the UESI, including various advancements in utility mapping technologies and standards. Viewpoints, needs, and issues from various stakeholders will be discussed, and will include speakers from the utility, consulting/construction, and municipal/provincial sectors.
